Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2018 Size: 60-Inch Verified Purchase Just installed this light today and the packaging is really good. When installing the 60" light the last 7-8" on both ends doesn't flex well to stick to your vehicle, make sure you use the provided metal tabs that get drilled into the truck. I personally used some black flat flexible rubber strips to attach to by truck.. the adhesive promoter packet was pretty dry when I opened it it smelled like maybe paint thinner just a guess.. I would personally buy a tube of die electric grease and smear some on your 4 way flat plug unless your hard wiring.. Overall the light was plugged in tested and is working great so far it's been several hours. For $60 hope it lasts as long as I own the truck. Product seems pretty nice! Update on light as of 7-25-2018 the right half of the light burned, contacted customer support and they are gone swap it out for me. Hopefully the next one lasts longer that 7 months- another update as of MAY 29th 2019 the company has sent me a defective part again right out of the box, so far I emailed them twice no response. I sent a video of the issue with the light in the email. I feel this purchase was a waste of time and money, I'm going on my 4 th light and I have paid about$20 each time I sent this back just for them to send me a light that has quality issues, and this light is interfering with my led trailer light I keep blowing a fuse every time I use the trailer and yes I had a trailer business double check the wiring for issues and told me it was this opt7 light I installed. You may have. I had bought a the two-way trailer harness splitter and just cut the signal wires on the splitter running to where the light bar plugs in and switched the two signal wires. All fixed. Didn't have to alter the light bar or orignal trailer harness at all. The double sided tape is like glue so it wasn't coming off. I installed this on my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 5.7L Hemi. It was super easy to install. Just like they said it is plug and play into your trucks 4 pin trailer harness. I just wiped down the spot under my tailgate i was instalking the led bar with rubbing alcohol and then pushed it on with the 3m tape. I didn't bother to hardwire the reverse lights as I don't want to hardwire anything into my new truck, but the other LED lights all worked and lit up as they should have. The 3m tape has held up so far (4 days) and if it decides to fall off I will update this review. I included 3 pictures. First one is during the day, the lights are super bright even in direct sunlight. The second picture is the led bar at night lit up under regular running position. The third picture is the led bar at night with the brakes applied. Would definitely buy an OPT7 product again on the way the package was so well protected during shipping alone. SO FAR ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT INSTALLING WAS A BREEZE AND THE LIGHT SHINES NICE AND BRIGHT. THE ONLY COMMENT I'LL MAKE THAT I DIDN'T REALLY ENJOY WAS THAT THIS LIGHT BAR COMES WITH BOTH THE ADHESIVE BACKING AND METAL CLIPS. I LIKE THE METAL CLIP METHOD BEING THAT THE BLOWERS AT OUR LOCAL CAR WASH ARE SUPER POWERFUL. ANYWAY, IT SURE WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THE SELLER/MANUFACTURER WOULD HAVE INCLUDE 4 METAL SCREWS IN ORDER TO AFIX THE METAL CLIPS. THAT WAS A SEPARATE RUN TO THE HARDWARE STORE FOR 4 SMALL METAL SCREWS - JUST MENTIONING IT CAUSE IT'S SUCH A SMALL ITEM THAT I JUST FEEL IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED.

I originally bought this OPT7 led tail gate bar in October of 2016 for my 2006 Ram 1500. I sold that truck in December of 2016 and bought a 2012 Ram R/T and I was able to peel off the OPT7 LED bar's 3m tape and reapply the led bar and original 3m tape to my new truck. This LED bar has survived 3 harsh Philadelphia winters, crazy rain, snow, sleet, ice, 5° weather, etc. All the LEDs work perfectly, everything works normal. This thing has blown past my expectations and then some. I seriously can't reccomend this led bar more. Its unreal how its lasted on 2 different trucks, for 3 winters now.
This OPT7 LED Light Bar for your Tail Gate is amazing quality. The led bar came in a nice HUGE box (poorly taped as if someone opened it and then re-taped it very poorly) but the led bar was inside the box, then inside a hard cardboard tube, then inside a clear plastic tube. This thing was packaged so well I think it would survive a bomb or blast, it was crazy how many protective layers the shipping box had.

I originally bought this OPT7 led tail gate bar in October of 2016 for my 2006 Ram 1500.
